Every February, Texas Exes around the globe participate in Project Worldwide community service projects. For our first Project Worldwide, the chapter volunteered right here in Katy at The Ballard House! The Mission of The Ballard House is “to provide temporary housing in our community with a warm, safe environment for individuals and their families who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.“ Katy Texas Exes volunteered on Saturday, February 9th for activities such as providing and serving brunch, folding laundry, stocking pantry and storage rooms, and assembling new furniture. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, and also to our event organizer, Nina Train!
