Committee on Student Outreach and Recruitment seeks to engage current UT Austin students with Texas Exes activities and recruit prospective students to enroll at UT. The committee will support students through mentoring, serving as role models, and designing opportunities to enrich both current and prospective student college experiences.
Subiendo: The Academy for Rising Leaders
Subiendo: The Academy for Rising Leaders is a summer program hosted by The McCombs School of Business. Now in its sixth year, Subiendo offers Texas high school seniors a unique opportunity to work hand-in-hand with today's business and political leaders. For more information, please click here.
Project Worldwide
Project Worldwide is a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement designed to unite alumni worldwide in community service during the month of February. The Project is a service project that has been taking place since 1999 and has now become UT's largest day of service. Each year, The Project, organized by the DDCE and UT students, takes on the cleaning up and beautification of a local Austin neighborhood on the last Saturday of February.
